Help me, Sister!
November 3, 2009 at 9:30 am | Posted in Uncategorized | 1 CommentMy good friend and Sister of Sion Celia Deutsch has written to tell me that the name of the parish to which we both belong is actually Our Lady of Ransom and not Our Lady of Refuge. (I misname our parish in the letter to the Apostolic Nuncio in my previous post. )
What I take from this is that if it weren’t for Catholic sisters, some of us wouldn’t even know what parish we belong to. Write your letter of support today!!

Actually, it IS “Our Lady of Refuge” and not “Ransom,” — but there’s a lovely syncronicity in there. Love it, including the humor of it all. Again, many thanks for the letter. A day later I’m still profoundly moved and heartened.
